Falmouth Road Race -  Annual Falmouth Road Race will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2005.  The popular affair begins in Woods Hole and winds 7.1 miles through beautiful Falmouth before concluding in front of Falmouth Heights Beach.  If you do not choose to run, you can catch all the action from the FALMOUTH HEIGHTS MOTOR LODGE, Conveniently located along the race course at the 6.2 mile mark.  The race begins at 10:00 AM.

Just a short walk from the FALMOUTH HEIGHTS MOTOR LODGE  you can sail away to the storybook island of Martha's Vineyard aboard the Island Queen.  Take the thirty-five minute ride across the sparkling waters of Vineyard Sound to fishing villages from another century.

Falmouth's annual fireworks display and Fourth of July celebration takes place in the Falmouth Heights Beach area, a two minute walk from the FALMOUTH HEIGHTS MOTOR LODGE.   The fireworks display begins at dusk.

Annual Falmouth Village Professional Arts & Crafts Street Festival - the first Wednesday after the Fourth of July right on Main Street in the village. Hundreds of professional artists and craftsmen display their wares in this highlight of the summer.

Christmas by the Sea Weekend - many events including caroling at Nobska Lighthouse, tree lighting and caroling on Village Green, Christmas Parade.
